Katie McGlynn, born on July 16, 1993, in Rochdale, England, is a British soap opera actress. She is most recognized for her role as Sinead Tinker on the long-running television series Coronation Street, debuting in April 2013.
Prior to her acting career, McGlynn attended Wardle High School in Rochdale and later pursued drama, English literature, and media studies at A Level. She then furthered her education by studying acting at the Carol Godby Theatre Workshop in Greater Manchester.
McGlynn made her television debut at age 18 as Scout in the British TV drama Waterloo Road. Her commitment to Coronation Street led to her appearing in over 195 episodes of the program by December 2015.
She was born and raised in Rochdale and continues to pursue a successful acting career.
