Katie Chang is a movie actress born on May 3, 1995 in Chicago, Illinois. She rose to prominence in 2013 for her role as ring leader Rebecca Ahn in the crime film The Bling Ring. Following this, she appeared as Ellen Reeves in A Birder’s Guide to Everything and as Amy in the indie film Anesthesia.
Prior to her acting career, Chang studied creative writing at Columbia University before transferring to Northwestern University where she obtained a degree in screenwriting.
In 2016, she was cast alongside Victoria Justice, Peyton List, and Avan Jogia in the comedy film The Outcasts.
Chang is of German, Irish, and Korean descent.
