Kathryn Thomas is an Irish television show host known for her work on a variety of popular programs. She was born in Carlow, Ireland in 1979 and gained attention for co-hosting the game show Winning Streak and the RTE One program Operation Transformation. Thomas also served as a presenter on The Voice of Ireland.
Prior to gaining fame as a TV host, she left University College Dublin to take on hosting duties for the sports-themed youth television program Rapid. In 2008, she received an Irish Film and Television Award for “Sony Bravia TV Personality of the Year.”
While born and raised in Carlow, Thomas has been romantically linked to Garda Enda Waters; however, their relationship ended in 2012. She subsequently began dating Padraig McLoughlin with whom she welcomed her daughter Ellie in March 2018.
