Kathleen Turner, born on June 19, 1954 in Springfield, Missouri, is an Academy Award-nominated movie actress. She is well-known for her performances in films such as Body Heat (1981) and Romancing The Stone (1984). Turner also provided the voice for Jessica Rabbit in the Disney film Who Framed Roger Rabbit and has appeared in TV series like Californication and Serial Mom.
Before her rise to fame, Turner lived in various countries due to her father’s diplomatic career including Canada, Venezuela, England, and Cuba. In addition to her acting work, she played the character of Chandler Bing’s father on the popular sitcom Friends.
In 1984, Kathleen married Jay Weiss with whom she had a daughter named Rachel Ann in 1987.
