Kathleen Sullivan is a TV journalist and former TV show host, born on May 17, 1953, in Pasadena, California. She is best known for her work as an anchor on CNN and her later contributions as a blogger for The Huffington Post.
Prior to gaining recognition as a prominent television personality, Sullivan played a pivotal role in the creation of CNN and went on to become the network’s first hired anchor. In 1984, she achieved another milestone by becoming the first female anchor to cover the Olympics.
Outside of her professional achievements, Sullivan married Michael Kiner in 1985; however, their marriage ended in divorce after four years.
