Kathleen Madigan is a stand-up comedienne born on September 30, 1965, in Florissant, Missouri. She has made a name for herself as a comedian and has performed at festivals across the UK and Australia. Her appearances on TV’s late night talk shows have also garnered her recognition.
In 2004, Madigan was a finalist on the second season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Before gaining fame as a comedian, she was known for her athletic abilities during high school despite her short stature. It was then that she started honing her comedy routines at open mic nights in clubs around the St. Louis area.
Madigan’s dedication to comedy has extended to making two ISO tours where she entertained American soldiers overseas alongside fellow comedian Lewis Black and musician Kellie Pickler.
