Katey Sagal, born on January 19, 1954 in Los Angeles, California, is a prominent TV actress. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Peggy Bundy on the Fox TV series Married… with Children. Her performance as Gemma Teller Morrow in Sons of Anarchy earned her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Drama TV Series in 2011. Additionally, she lent her voice to the character Turanga Leela in the animated series Futurama.
Prior to achieving fame, Sagal commenced her acting career by appearing in several made-for-television movies. Notably, she portrayed Danny Masterson’s on-screen mother in three episodes of the series That ’70s Show , and also featured in the 2015 film Pitch Perfect 2.
In terms of personal life, Sagal was previously married to Steppenwolf drummer Jack White from 1993 to 2000 and later tied the knot with Sons of Anarchy showrunner Kurt Sutter. She is a mother of three children.
