She is a Russian movie, TV and stage actress known for her work on the TV series Katya: Military Story and in the film Brothel Lights playing Zinka. Before gaining fame as an actress, Shpitsa grew up in the remote mining province of Inta in the Komi Republic before moving to Perm. During her preteen years in Perm, she won local beauty contests and later studied at CODE in Perm while working for the Perm Chamber Theatre of New Drama.
