About Kat Robichaud
Kat Robichaud is a pop singer born on September 2, 1983 in Concord, North Carolina. She gained recognition as a competitor on the fifth season of the NBC reality singing series The Voice where she performed ‘I’ve Got the Music in Me’ by The Kiki Dee Band and was selected to be a part of CeeLo Green’s team.
Prior to her appearance on The Voice, Robichaud served as the lead singer, songwriter and rhythm guitarist of a band called The Design for seven years. During this time, they released their first album “Laziest Perfectionist” in 2008. Additionally, she earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from North Carolina State University.
As an independent artist, she initiated a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund her debut album and quickly reached her goal of $20,000 within three days of launching it.
Robichaud hails from Concord, North Carolina where she was raised with her two brothers named Christopher and Donnie. Her father worked as a cardiologist while her mother pursued work as a reading specialist. She is also married to Guillaume.
