Karla DeVito (born May 29, 1953) is a rock singer known for her collaboration with Meat Loaf on his Bat Out of Hell Tour and the release of her solo album Is This a Cool World or What? She has also sung with the Blue Oyster Cult.
Before rising to fame, she was runner-up as homecoming queen while attending Lincoln-Way High School. Her song “We Are Not Alone” was featured prominently in the hit 1980s film The Breakfast Club. In 1982, she married actor Robby Benson.
