About Karla Luna
Karla Luna was a Mexican entertainer born on September 25, 1979, in Tamaulipas, Mexico. She rose to fame as half of the comedy duo Las Lavanderas alongside Karla Panini. In addition to her comedic talents, she also ventured into singing and released the singles “La Muchachona,” “La Enfiestada,” and “Vivo.”
Early in her career, Luna made appearances on the variety show Noches con Platanito prior to achieving greater recognition in the entertainment industry.
Tragically, in 2017, she began a third round of chemotherapy to battle an aggressive form of cancer. Karla Luna had four children named Nina Victoria, Sara Valentina Garza and Stephany and Jose Ruben Rodriguez. She was previously married to Americo Garza but eventually divorced him.
