About Karen Disher
Karen Disher, born on August 7, 1972, in the United States, is an American storyboard artist and film director. She is best known for her work as a character designer on the popular MTV animated series Daria. After graduating from the Tisch School of the Arts, she joined MTV and later went on to sign with Blue Sky Studios in 2005.
At Blue Sky Studios, Disher worked on animated films like Ice Age: The Meltdown and Robots. In addition to her work in animation, she served as a creative consultant for the video game Daria’s Inferno in 2000.
In 2001, Karen Disher married Robert Todd Partington, who was then serving as the supervisor of computer graphics for MTV Networks.
