Karen David (born April 15, 1979) is an Indian-born TV actress best known for her role as Princess Isabella Maria Lucia Elizabetta of Valencia in the ABC musical fairytale series Galavant. She has also appeared on the BBC’s Waterloo Road and starred in the action movie The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior.
After training at London’s Guildford School of Acting, Karen made her professional stage debut on the West End in Mamma Mia!. She portrayed Alexia in Pixelface from 2011 to 2012 and has released singles “It’s Me (You’re Talking To)” and “Hypnotize.” Born of Chinese, Jewish, and Indian descent, Karen grew up in Shillong, India before moving to Canada. She married Swedish musician Carl Ryden in 2013.
