About Karen Barber
Karen Barber (born June 21, 1961) is an English figure skater known for her accomplishments in ice dancing. She was born in England and started her career by winning a silver medal at the 1977 World Junior Championships.
Barber went on to become a two-time Skate Canada International silver medalist and the one-time British Champion. She represented Great Britain at the 1980 and 1984 Olympic Games but did not win a medal.
In her personal life, Barber has two daughters from her first marriage and began a relationship with fellow skater Christopher Dean in 2011.
