About Karen Baldwin
Karen Baldwin, born on September 6, 1963, in London, Canada is a model and beauty pageant contestant. Notably, she became the first Canadian woman to win the Miss Universe title in 1982.
Prior to her pageantry success, she grew up in London, Ontario and attended London Central Secondary School. She achieved victory in several pageants including Miss Canada before clinching the Miss Universe crown.
Baldwin was married to Jack Scalia with whom she had two daughters named Olivia and Jacqueline. The couple divorced in 1996.
