About K-swift
K-Swift, born Khia Danielle Edgerton on October 19, 1978 in Baltimore, Maryland, was a prominent disc jockey, entertainment personality, and entrepreneur. She was best known for hosting the popular Baltimore program “Off The Hook Radio” and won four Baltimore City Paper DJ Awards between 2001 and 2006.
Before gaining recognition as a DJ, K-Swift interned at WERQ-FM (92Q), a well-known radio station in Baltimore. Additionally, she released several mix albums under Unruly Records and owned Club Queen Entertainment until her untimely death.
Tragically, K-Swift passed away at the young age of twenty-nine after an accidental drowning at her home during a party.
