About Jutta Leerdam
Jutta Leerdam is an Olympic speed skater specialising in sprint events. During the 2017-2018 season, she had an amazing achievement – winning the ISU Junior World Cup Speed Skating championship in both 1000m and 1500m. She shares her sports travel and lifestyle content on Instagram (@juttaleerdam) to her 3.3 million followers! Before taking up speed skating, Jutta played hockey for eight years but preferred the individual aspect of speed skating more. Fun fact: Her dad named her after a surfer he was a fan of, Jutta Muller! She’s currently in a relationship with Dutch speed skater Koen Verweij, and is closely associated with other female Olympic speed skaters Jennifer Rodriguez and Allison Baver.
