Justine Pasek, born on August 29, 1979, in Kharkiv, Ukraine, is a Polish-Panamanian model and beauty queen. She gained recognition for being the first runner-up at Miss Universe 2002 but assumed the title when the original winner was stripped of her crown. Prior to her pageant success, Pasek spent much of her early childhood in Wozuczyn, Poland and began modeling in 1996.
In addition to her work as a pageant contestant and model, Pasek also served as an FAO Goodwill Ambassador and participated in the game show Minute to Win It in 2010. In terms of personal life, she married Dan Joelson in 2009 and they have two children together.
