Justina Taylor Miles, born on September 12, 2002 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is an ASL interpreter and Instagram star known for her captivating and energetic performances. She gained widespread recognition for her historic performance at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show, becoming the first Deaf woman to sign American Sign Language at the event.
Prior to her Super Bowl appearance, Justina performed ASL interpretations at various concerts across the United States. Her impactful signing during Rihanna‘s set as well as Sheryl Lee Ralph’s rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” catered to hard-of-hearing audience members.
A native of Philadelphia, she is also a nursing student and cheerleader at Bowie State University in Maryland. Notably, she was valedictorian at the Model Secondary School for the Deaf in Washington D.C.
