About Julie Holland
Julie Holland, born on December 13, 1965 in Massachusetts, is an American psychiatrist and author. She received the 2011 Norman Zinberg Award for Medical Excellence and is known for her book “Weekends at Bellevue: Nine Years on the Night Shift at the Psych ER”. Prior to gaining recognition, she earned a medical degree from Temple University and held a position as Chief Resident of the Schizophrenia Research Ward at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. In addition to her work as an author and psychiatrist, she also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine from 1995 to 2012. Hailing from Framingham, Massachusetts, Julie has made significant contributions to both psychiatric research and literature.
