Julie Benz is a television actress known for her role as Rita on Showtime’s series Dexter. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on May 1, 1972. Before rising to fame as an actress, she competed in junior partner ice dancing at the US Championships in 1988.
In addition to her role on Dexter, Benz has also appeared in the film Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day and had recurring roles on Defiance and Hawaii Five-O.
Benz was married to John Kassir from 1998 to 2007 and later married Rich Orosco in 2012.
