Julia Matthews (born July 20, 1986) is a New Zealand blogger and one half of the health and wellness sister team Julia & Libby. Together, they run a website that offers recipes and a lifestyle blog along with publishing several cookbooks. Their first book, “Julia And Libby’s Wholefood Kitchen,” was released in 2016 through Penguin Random House. Additionally, they are the founders of the food company Two Islands Co.
Matthews gained recognition after her first Instagram post in 2013 which featured her wearing a hat and sunglasses with the caption “#Amish” alongside a crystal ball emoji.
Their work has been featured in Glasson’s Magazine, The New Zealand Herald, Remix Magazine, Good Health Magazine, among others. Julia is based in New Zealand while her sister Libby Boxall resides in Minnesota.
