Julia Kaye is an American illustrator known for her webcomic Up and Out, which sheds light on transgender rights. Born on June 15, 1988, she has gained over 110,000 Instagram followers since beginning to document her own transition within the webcomic in October 2016.
Kaye studied illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design before starting to illustrate her Up and Out webcomic on Tumblr in May 2013. She has also worked for Disney Animation on their animated series Big City Greens.
