About Julia Cumming
Julia Cumming is a pop singer, model, and activist born on January 16, 1996 in the United States. She is best known as the lead singer of the group Sunflower Bean and has made a name for herself not only through her music but also modeling work.
Cumming’s professional modeling career took off after she walked in Yves Saint Laurent’s Ready To Wear Fall Winter 2014 show in Paris, leading to an exclusive contract with Hedi Slimane. Prior to this, she began her first band called Supercute! back in 2009 and later graduated from the Professional Performing Arts School in 2014.
In addition to her musical and modeling pursuits, Julia founded Anger Can Be Power in 2017, a project aimed at inspiring political action among young people. Her parents are Alex Cumming, a TV writer, and Cynthia Harden who works as an epileptologist.
