About Jula De Palma
Jula De Palma (born April 21, 1932) is an Italian jazz singer known for her performances of songs such as “I’ve Got You Under My skin,” “Blues in the Night,” and “One For My Baby (And One For the Road).”
Prior to gaining recognition as a prominent figure in jazz music, she worked as a radio singer alongside Lelio Luttazzi during the 1950s.
De Palma’s performance at the Festival di Sanremo in 1959 caused significant controversy, leading to her absence from national television for several years thereafter.
In 1957, she married composer Carlo Lanzi.
