Judith Light is probably best remembered for her roles in the ’80s hit TV series Whos the Boss and One Life to Live. In 2006, she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for her performance in Ugly Betty, and more recently she stars as Shelly Pfefferman on Amazon’s Transparent. Judith initially entered showbiz after graduating from St. Mary’s Hall-Doane Academy and had many stage productions under her belt before taking home a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play in Other Desert Cities. Her parents are model Pearl Hollander and accountant Sidney Licht; she tied the knot with Robert Desiderio back in 1985. Of course, who could forget her classic role alongside Tony Danza in Whos the Boss?
