About Josh Gilbert
Josh Gilbert is a bassist and backup vocalist who gained recognition as a member of the American metalcore band As I Lay Dying. Born in Birmingham, Alabama on March 17, 1987, he was previously affiliated with the band This Endearing before joining As I Lay Dying in 2007. Following the hiatus of As I Lay Dying in 2014, he and other band members formed Wovenwar and released their self-titled debut album later that year.
Not only known for his musical pursuits, Gilbert also founded Echelon Studios East recording studio in Birmingham, Alabama in 2010. He comes from a close-knit family and has a younger sister named Tori.
