About Jordan Thompson
Jordan Thompson (born May 5, 1997) is a volleyball athlete from the United States. She represents the women’s national volleyball team of the United States and also plays for the Italian Serie A1 team Vero Volley Milano. In 2020, she achieved a gold medal victory with the national team during the Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
Prior to her professional career, Thompson participated in collegiate volleyball as a member of the University of Cincinnati Bearcats from 2015 to 2019. Despite having only two years of club volleyball experience, she received her inaugural NCAA Division I scholarship offer.
Thompson hails from Edina, Minnesota and is married to Blake Yager. Her father, Tyrone Doleman, was a player with the Harlem Globetrotters and her uncle was Football Hall of Famer Chris Doleman.
