About Jona Soquite
Jona Soquite, born on April 13, 2004 in Davao, Philippines, is a pop singer known for being the grand champion of the inaugural season of The Voice Teens Philippines. Prior to her success on The Voice Teens, Soquite had previously auditioned for The Voice Kids three times but was never able to advance past the audition round.
Soquite grew up in Toril, Davao Del Sur, Philippines. In her blind audition for the teens version of The Voice Philippines, she sang the OPM song “Anak ng Pasig.” Her father used to enter singing competitions himself but had to stop to focus on work.
