About Joelle Charbonneau
Joelle Charbonneau (born November 4, 1974 in Chicago, Illinois) is a Young Adult Author best known for her New York Times bestselling book series The Testing. She has also written several mystery series including the Rebecca Robbins mysteries and the Glee Club mysteries.
Prior to her writing career, Charbonneau earned an undergraduate degree in music and a master’s in opera performance. In her twenties, she pursued a career as a professional singer and dancer. In addition to being an author, she has taught private voice lessons.
Charbonneau was born and raised in Chicago and is now raising one child of her own.
