Jocelyn Aloha Pumehana Alo, born on September 23, 1998 in Hawaii, is a prominent softball player who gained recognition for her outstanding performance as part of the University of Oklahoma’s team. In both 2021 and 2022, she was honored with the prestigious title of USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year. Subsequently, Alo was drafted first overall by Smash It Vipers.
Before rising to fame as a college athlete at Oklahoma, Jocelyn attended James Campbell High School in Hawaii where she earned acclaim by being selected twice as Gatorade State High School Player of the Year. Her athletic prowess extends beyond just softball – during high school, she briefly participated in girls’ wrestling and clinched victory in HHSAA girls state championship.
Alo’s remarkable talent has not gone unnoticed; notably, in 2018 she received accolades when named NFCA National Freshman of the Year.
