About Joao Miranda
Joao Miranda, born on September 7, 1984, is a Brazilian professional soccer player who has achieved success with various clubs. He is commonly known as “Miranda” and has played as a centre back for teams such as Coritiba, Sao Paulo, and Atletico Madrid. Miranda was part of the Brazilian squad that emerged victorious in the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2009.
Prior to his professional career, Miranda developed through Coritiba’s youth system before making his debut with the club in 2004. He also earned recognition by being named to the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A Team of the Year for four consecutive seasons from 2007 to 2010 while representing Sao Paulo.
Miranda’s parents are Joao Miranda and Maria Miranda de Souza. He also has children.
