About Joanne Gair
Joanne Gair, born on August 30, 1958 in Auckland, New Zealand, is a renowned makeup artist known for her full-body paintings that have been featured in numerous Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues since 1999. Her notable works include the Disappearing Model and painting celebrities such as Demi Moore.
Prior to gaining fame as a makeup artist, Gair grew up in Auckland and initially worked as a dance teacher. She later gained attention by appearing on Germany’s Next Top Model where she painted the bodies of the final four contestants.
Gair is the daughter of George Gair, a prominent New Zealand politician, and has two siblings named Linda and Warwick.
