About Joan Lunden
Joan Lunden, born on September 19, 1950 in Fair Oaks, California, is a television personality known for her two-decade tenure as the host of ABC’s Good Morning America. She also presented coverage of the Winter Olympics for ABC and hosted programs such as Behind Closed Doors and Biography for A&E.
Prior to her fame, Lunden graduated from Sacramento State University with a degree in liberal arts. Additionally, she has authored nearly ten books including Joan Lunden’s Healthy Living and A Bend in the Road is Not the End of the Road: 10 Positive Principles For Dealing with Change.
Lunden married television producer Michael Krauss in 1978 before later marrying Jeff Konigsberg after her divorce in 1992. In total, she has seven children from her two marriages.
