About Jisook
Jisook is a South Korean pop singer, born on July 18, 1990 in Suwon. She rose to fame as the lead singer of the K-pop girl group Rainbow before they disbanded in 2016. Afterward, she signed with Dmost Entertainment in 2017.
Prior to her music career, Jisook majored in music at Hanyang Women’s University and was a member of a rock band before joining Rainbow in 2009. Additionally, she was part of the sub-group Rainbow Pixie alongside bandmates Seungah and Hyunyoung.
Tragically, Jisook’s mother passed away from a chronic illness on July 4th, 2011.
