About Jillian Hervey
Jillian Hervey is a soul singer and actress best known for being one half of the musical duo Lion Babe. She was born on June 19, 1989, in Los Angeles, California. Her journey as a musician began with the release of Lion Babe’s first single “Treat Me Like Fire” in 2012.
Before pursuing music, she studied dance at The New School in New York City where she met her bandmate Lucas Goodman at a college dorm party. Their success led them to signing with Interscope Records and releasing their debut self-titled album in 2014.
Additionally, Jillian Hervey comes from an artistic background as the daughter of dancer and pop singer Vanessa Williams.
