About Jia Morado
Jia Morado, born on May 10, 1995 in Paranaque, Philippines, is a Filipino international volleyball player. She is best known for her time as setter with Ateneo de Manila University and has represented her country at the Asian Women’s U23 Volleyball Championship and Southeast Asian Games in 2015.
Before beginning her international career, Morado attended Colegio San Agustin – Makati where she achieved multiple awards for Best Setter during high school. She went on to win UAAP Seasons 76 and 77 while also securing a bronze medal at the 2016 ASEAN University Games.
Morado was raised in Paranaque, Philippines under the full name of Julia Melissa Morado.
