About Jessica Yatrofsky
Jessica Yatrofsky (born June 18, 1981) is a multimedia artist, photographer, and author from New York City. She is known for her books “Golden Thrown,” “I Heart Boy,” “I Heart Girl,” and “Pink Privacy,” which feature her photographs and poetry on body politics, beauty, and gender. Yatrofsky has gained over 120,000 followers on her Instagram account jyatrofsky and is the founder of Only Beautiful Living.
Before gaining recognition as an artist, Yatrofsky attended Parsons School of Design. In 2012, she published her first photography monograph titled I Heart Boy with powerHouse Books.
Yatrofsky’s photographic work is part of the permanent collection at the Leslie Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art. Additionally, she hosts the podcast Mind Space Minimal.
Yatrofsky comes from a family deeply rooted in creativity; she is the granddaughter of Sidney Yatrofsky and daughter to Jennifer Holguin. She also has an older sister.
