American softball star Jessica Mendoza was a four-time First Team All-American at Stanford University, where she made her mark from 1999 to 2002. Before that, she had already earned the Los Angeles Times Player of the Year award for her performance at Adolfo Camarillo High School. She left Stanford with a record number of batting average hits, home runs and stolen bases. In 2004, Jessica was part of the winning Olympic softball team and later became an ESPN color analyst. Away from sports, she’s married to Adam Burks and they have two sons named Caleb and Cayden. Together with Laura Berg, Jessica won gold as part of Team USA at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
