About Jessica Day George
Jessica Day George is an American children’s author, best known for her acclaimed series The Princesses of Westfalin and Dragon Slippers.
George was born on October 11, 1976, in Idaho. She attended Brigham Young University where she studied Old Norse.
In 2007, George won the Whitney Award for her book Dragon Slippers and received nominations for the award in both 2008 and 2009.
She is a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints.
