About Jenny O’Hara
Jenny O’Hara is a television actress known for her recurring character of Janet Heffernan on the CBS series The King of Queens. She was born on February 24, 1942 in California. In addition to her work on television, O’Hara has appeared in films such as Extract (2009) and Devil (2010).
Before pursuing acting, she briefly studied at Carnegie-Mellon University before training in New York with renowned acting teachers Sanford Meisner and Lee Strasberg.
In 1986, Jenny married English-born television actor Nick Ullett, with whom she has two children. Notably, both Jenny and her sister Jill O’Hara performed in the Broadway production of Promises, Promises. Their mother, Edith Hopkins O’Hara, also had ties to the entertainment industry as the founder of New York’s 13th Street Repertory Company.
