About Jenny Morris
Jenny Morris, born on September 29, 1956, in New Zealand, is a renowned R&B singer known for her work with the 1980s Australian new wave group QED and the late 1970s and early 1980s band The Crocodiles. She achieved chart-topping success with solo albums like “Shiver” and singles such as “She Has to Be Loved.”
During her late teens and early twenties, Morris performed with bands How’s Your Father and Wide Mouthed Frogs before releasing her debut solo single “Puberty Blues” in 1981, which was featured in the popular film of the same title.
Morris received two consecutive Best Female Artist Aria Music Awards in the late 1980s. She grew up with seven siblings in Tokoroa and Hamilton, New Zealand before becoming an Australian citizen. She later had a son and a daughter with her husband Paul Clark who works as a photographer.
