Jenny Gago is a Peruvian TV actress born on September 11, 1953. She is known for her recurring roles on the television shows MacGyver and The Agency. Additionally, she played lead roles in Freddie as Grandma and Dangerous Minds as Amanda Bardales.
Before gaining fame, Gago started her career with the role of Juanita Romero in the TV movie A Gun in the House in 1981, and a year later appeared in an episode of CHiPs. Notably, she took on the roles of Mercedes in Nurse Betty and President Martinez in Coach Carter.
Gago was born in Peru but earned a BA at UCLA before attending the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She also has one son.
