About Jenny Boom Boom
Jenny Boom Boom, born on January 13, 1975 in New York, is a radio host known for being consistently rated as the #1 afternoon radio personality in Hartford, Connecticut. She began her career at WZMX Hot 93.7, a CBS radio station, in the early 2000s and gained fame for her engaging on-camera interviews with artists and actors.
Prior to her success in radio, Jenny was a professional dancer and dance teacher. While she initially planned to study Dance Therapy at The State University of New York after high school, she changed her plans due to an unplanned pregnancy during her junior year. Before entering the world of radio, Jenny also worked as a turntable DJ.
Notably, Jenny was one of the first individuals to interview Jay-Z and R. Kelly regarding their decision to end their Best of Both Worlds Tour in 2004.
Jenny has five children – three from before she landed her first full-time radio job – making motherhood an important aspect of her life. Her father and oldest brother have also been involved in the fields of radio and TV.
