About Jennifer Rizzotti
Jennifer Rizzotti is a former basketball player and current women’s basketball coach. She was born on May 15, 1974, in New York. Rizzotti has achieved success as the head coach of the Hartford Hawks, winning back-to-back America East Coach of the Year awards. Additionally, she coached the U.S. women’s national team to FIBA World Champion titles in 2006, 2010, and 2011.
Prior to her coaching career, Rizzotti was a standout player at New Fairfield High School in Connecticut before going on to win a national title with the UConn Huskies.
Notably, she won the Honda-Broderick Cup as Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year for the 1995-96 season during her playing career.
Rizzotti’s parents are Tom and Carol Rizzotti.
