Jennifer Orkin Lewis is an American artist and illustrator known for her daily sketchbook, in which she creates a 30-minute painting based on everyday objects. Born on December 20, 1963, in the United States, Lewis has made a name for herself through this unique artistic practice.
Before gaining recognition for her daily sketches, Lewis graduated from RISD and worked as a textile stylist designing prints for children’s clothing and lingerie. She authored the book “Draw Every Day Draw Every Way” and has attracted over 170,000 Instagram followers under the handle augustwren.
