About Jenni Rivera
Jenni Rivera, born as Dolores Janney Rivera on July 2, 1969 in Long Beach, California, was a well-known World Music Singer. She gained worldwide recognition for her 2008 album “Jenni,” which achieved the top spot on the US Billboard 200 chart. Tragically, she passed away in a plane crash in 2012.
Before rising to fame, Jenni excelled academically despite becoming pregnant during her sophomore year of high school. Her first recording was created as a gift for her father.
In addition to her music career, Jenni appeared in the film Filly Brown and was appointed as a spokeswoman for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. In honor of her philanthropic work, August 6th has been designated as Jenni Rivera Day in Los Angeles.
Coming from a family with strong ties to music, she was born to Rosa Rivera and Pedro Rivera who worked as a music producer. She had five siblings – Lupillo, Juan, Rosie , Pedro Jr., and Gustavo. Throughout her life she married three times: Jose Trinidad Marin, Juan Lopez and Esteban Loaiza were all husbands at different chapters of her life.She is also remembered by five children named Chiquis , Jenicka Jacqie Johnny & Micheal
