About Jenna Talackova
Jenna Talackova is a Canadian model and beauty queen known for her historic participation as a trans woman in the Miss Universe Canada pageant. Born on October 15, 1988, in Vancouver, Canada, Talackova gained attention for her role as the Grand Marshal of the Vancouver Pride Parade in 2012. She started hormone therapy at the age of 14 and has since become an advocate for transgender rights.
She also starred in a reality show called Brave New Girls which aired in January 2014 and documented her journey into the modeling industry. Talackova’s father hails from Czechoslovakia while her mother is of aboriginal Canadian descent.
