Jenna Dewan is an American actress and dancer, born on December 3, 1980 in Hartford, Connecticut. She gained fame for her roles in films such as Step Up and Take the Lead, as well as her appearance in the television series American Horror Story: Asylum.
Prior to her acting career, Dewan worked as a back-up dancer for several popular artists including NSYNC, Pink, Missy Elliot and Ricky Martin. In addition to her dance career, she appeared in Christina Aguilera‘s music video “Not Myself Tonight” in 2010.
Dewan married actor Channing Tatum whom she met on the set of Step Up in July 2009. The couple welcomed their daughter Everly in 2013 but eventually separated after nearly nine years of marriage. In 2018, Dewan began dating Steve Kazee and they had a son named Callum Michael Rebel Kazee on March 6th of the following year; the couple got engaged later that year.
