About Jenae Cherry
Jenae Cherry, born on March 1, 1990 in Illinois, is an American country music singer. She gained recognition with the release of her debut LP, “Around We Go,” in June 2015. Prior to her album debut, she established herself as a prominent figure in the Nashville music scene, showcasing her talents through solo acoustic performances and gigs with The Jenae Cherry Band.
Before rising to fame, Cherry honed her musical skills during her upbringing in Wonder Lake, Illinois where she was an active performer at school and church events. At the age of seventeen, she received a guitar from her family which sparked her passion for songwriting and performing.
A notable highlight in Cherry’s career was when she premiered her Baltimore Orioles-inspired song “Don’t Miss the Magic” before an Orioles game in August 2016.
Cherry is married to MLB pitcher Brad Branch and has musician Mark Cherry as her father.
